Tractor shipping from China is almost always a 40HQ conversation. Cab machines usually travel alone. Compact ROPS units can share. Dual wheels and loader arms change both the count and the CIF.
Typical packing (class, confirmed on the PI)
| Class | Per 40HQ | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Compact 25–50 HP ROPS | Often 2–3 | ROPS folded. Loaders reduce the count. |
| JT-704 ROPS | 1–2 | Loader arms in the same box if ordered. |
| Cab 80–120 HP | 1 | Default. Do not plan a 20GP. |
| Heavy 130–220 HP | 1 | Tyres and duals packed as quoted. |
FOB, CIF, and photos
FOB is the packed tractor in China. CIF adds ocean and insurance to Mombasa, Lagos, Manila, or Jebel Ali. Duty is yours. We film the serial before the balance and send loading photos with the B/L — how a tractor leaves Jining, CIF contents, import steps.

FAQ
How many tractors in a 40HQ?
One cab unit is typical. Two or three compact ROPS tractors can share, depending on loader arms. We count it on the quote.
Can a 220 HP tractor go in a 20GP?
No. Plan a 40HQ after the tyre spec.
Does CIF include the container?
CIF includes ocean freight and insurance of the packed unit to the named port. The box type is part of that freight line.
